I have always admired artists that can take two completely different animals and seamlessly combine them into one cohesive, gorgeous creation – so I took a shot at it with this seahorse meets giraffe concept. It was really fun and challenging to create – especially with the intricate mandala work filling her scales. The geometric background was a satisfying feat in itself as well with all it’s vibrant colours. The inspiration for the background came from a hand-bag Isaw a lady carrying one time… Life has little sudden treasures like that once in a while if you look for them.
