Reclaimed wood from the Saskatchewan prairies.
An artwork that I named after my client’s home village in Southern Saskatchewan. I pulled inspiration from the subtle rolling hills and bright skies that this location hosts. Made of reclaimed oak and well aged barn board, it was definitely a bit of a brain exercise to get this project pieced together, but between my ideas and my dad’s extensive wood working knowledge, it literally feels like anything is possible. I’m so grateful to have his knowledge near by for whenever my ideas seem bigger than my capabilities. I soon find out they never are.
