Crafted from reclaimed maple, black walnut, oak, and lacewood, this piece features a misty waterfall scene and cedar branches, all freehand wood-burnt using a Razertip pyrography kit.
The carved, three-dimensional ferns are made from two different species of wood: the stems are crafted from oak, while the leaves are shaped from lacewood. Their grains run perpendicular to each other, making each fern not only visually striking but also structurally sound.
The piece is made up of three separate panels and is easy to hang with precision, thanks to a custom wall-mounting template that I’ll include with its purchase.
