Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I get an art piece?

I go by a first-come, first-serve basis in my email, or my direct messages on social media. If you see something you like and want to purchase, please email me or direct message me to learn more, or to ask any questions you may have. Whomever is the first to confirm they’d like to purchase an art piece, gets to claim it as their own.

What is your price range?

My price range can vary anywhere between $2,000 to $13,000 (CAD) + shipping and taxes (if applicable). I mostly create large, intricate art pieces and I base my price on several factors. Each piece is unique and requires different amounts of material and time.

How do I pay?

For Canadians I use eTransfer.

For Americans I use wise.com or direct bank transfer.

Once a buyer has confirmed they want to purchase an artwork, I take roughly one week to package the art piece safely, find out shipping and insurance cost to their provided address, and add any applicable taxes (Currently, taxes are required by Canadian residents only).

I then email an invoice to the person that includes the total of everything: cost of art piece, shipping, chosen insurance, and taxes if applicable. Once the invoice is paid to me in full, I immediately ship the art piece to them and provide a tracking number.

Do you ship worldwide?

At this time, I only ship within Canada and the United States, but am looking into expanding my market.

Why are they always marked as sold on your social media?

If an art piece is marked as **Sold**, it has found a permanent home. I only make one of each art piece. I recommend setting an alarm notification for my release dates & times as my art pieces typically sell within 24 hours. This absolutely may change, as I have no control over the current demand of my artworks, but this has been my consistent experience for 5 years.

Will you remake the exact same piece as before?

Although I have a certain creative style, nothing is made to be the exact same as previous projects. Each piece is unreplicatable due to the nature of reclaimed wood. All of my artworks are incredibly unique in their own way, and there is only one of each – so if you love something and want it in your home, direct message me if it’s still available.

Can I see anything in advance?

I will occasionally include sneak peeks in my email newsletters for my new collection announcements (Sign up at the bottom of this page), but otherwise I am currently not offering sneak peeks, holds, or dibs before my chosen release dates.

Do you take commissions, or will you be soon?

I am not taking on custom work or commissions at this time, and am unable to provide a timeline on when that will change. I will send out a direct email if I reopen my commissions. (Sign up at the bottom of this page)

What sort of laser / CNC do you use for your cuts and burns?

I absolutely do not use any laser or CNC machines for any of my woodwork or woodburning. Everything is cut using classic woodworking machinery, and all woodburnings are done free-hand with a Razertip pyrography kit.
